Halycon Days so nearly got the Club it's first winner when second at 33/1 at Newcastle on 21 February in a jumpers' bumper.

HALCYON DAYS is our new recruit, trained by Becky Menzies near Sedgefield is an 11 year old chaser who should give us an interest over the next few months. An up and coming stable who do well with their horses. Running at Newcastle tomorrow in NH flat race to keep ticking over.


ARTOIS will benefit from last run and the next couple of runs will show if the horse retains any talent.


SOMETHING LUCKY having a short break before continuing to search for that elusive win.


TRICKY CUSTOMER will be out when suitable opportunity arises and rain stops!

The Club had another second on 22 January 2020 when Something Lucky finished 2nd at 7/2 at Lingfield under Luke Morris.


I am looking at arranging a stable visit to Michael Attwater at Epsom on Wednesday 22 April 2020 and combining it with the day's racing at Epsom that day.

Tricky Customer finished 2nd at 66/1 at Exeter.


The Club has another runner on 22 January 2020 with SOMETHING LUCKY running in the 3.55 at Lingfield. My thoughts on the race has been sent to all Club members.


We have now had 4 2nds, 1 3rd and 4 4ths so due a winner


Yasir is likely to run at Wolverhampton on one for the next two Mondays.

Yasir finished 10th at 10/1 at Wolverhampton under Amelia Glass.


Tricky Customer runs in the Exeter 2.00 on 21 Janaury 2020 and needs this run to get a handicap mark.


Something Lucky runs in 3.55 at Lingfield on 22 January 2020 with Luke Morris booked and with 8 runners heading to post.

Tricky Customer had his first run for the Club at Leicester on 28 December when being pulled up at 100/1.


He led at the 6th flight but started to drop back after the next and was wisely pulled up when his chance had gone in the testing ground.


He will come on for the run.
